Start-Up and Lederhosen! The ultimate accolade for Bavarian entrepreneurs at “Seedcamp” in London

More than 200 competitors from all over Europe – wins with intelligent telephony solution for small and medium sized businesses

Berlin/ London (10.02.2014). Seedcamp, with its jury of technology experts, successful entrepreneurs and venture capitalists, has declared the Berlin-based startup company a winner of Europe’s biggest and most important accelerator program. More than 200 international companies pitched for the cup. Michael Zirngibl and Sebastian von L’Estocq, who went to the same grammar school in Bavaria (Germany), have developed a software which enables sales representatives of small and medium sized businesses to have more successful phone calls. Carlos Eduardo Espinal, partner of Seedcamp, was fascinated by the concept from the first moment: „The technology adds crucial information to the natural workflow of sales people; it doesn’t make sales people adapt to the technology, but rather adapts the technology to what drives value to sales people.” shows the sales rep a holistic picture of the client the second the call comes in. All data from within the enterprise as well as the publicly accessible information from sites like twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook etc. is intelligently summarized and shown in a smart way. Predictive recommendations will be made in order to facilitate the sales process for both the client as well as the sales rep. While big contact centers have worked with similar solutions for a long time, the software available in the market was either too expensive or too complex to be used by smaller companies. is the first software that changes every phone into the ultimate selling machine.

Thousands of technology startups from 71 countries have applied since 2007 for a seat in Seedcamp week. Twice a year the 20 best compete against each other on Google Campus in London. In four rounds they are challenged by the Seedcamp jury, successful entrepreneurs, product and marketing specialists and last but not least investors. Of course the companies are pitching for funding – but what is most important and invaluable is the coaching and mentoring program. Seedcamp is proud to call Google, Facebook, Amazon etc. their family members, and together with them they will help the entrepreneurs to build a strong product and to successfully launch on international markets. The team of will now be commuting between Berlin and London on a regular basis. By autumn the company will have a track record, and the team will do a road show in the US in order to attract big partners, investors and potentially even acquirers.

„Having qualified for the finals was already a great success, but to be trained by the Seedcamp team over the next twelve months is the best!”, says Michael Zirngibl who founded in 2013. The Berlin-based team was very happy that the jury immediately understood their company’s vision: “We feel like we have just qualified for the champions league of start-ups”, says Sebastian von L’Estocq, Co-Founder. “Now we can’t wait to learn from the world’s best coaches!” After a 100 hour working week in London, both are still far from being tired. Michael Zirngibl: “We can only recommend the Seedcamp to all entrepreneurs. To be so closely in touch with the start-up scene and the experienced mentors is phantastic!”
